Hi I’ve installed the windows live messenger app for my blackberry and whenever I login even if I have my wifi on and even when my other apps work such as twitter this one always says “Service not enabled for this handheld”

What te hell does that mean??? Is there a way to fix this and btw I don’t like using ebuddy but is there a way to fix this?

Hello, I just got the iphone and with the plan i have i can only use 20 hours of internet. like not wireless internet.
if i am on a facebook app, or a twitter app does that count as the internet?

Can I run multiple apps together on original iPad?

I’m debating getting an iPad to take onto campus with me instead of my much heavier laptop. But I don’t know whether I would need an iPad 2 or whether the original iPad would be sufficient.

The camera and weight difference doesn’t bother me. But, I have heard people saying that you can’t ‘multitask’ on an iPad whilst others say that it is wrong and the iPad is perfectly capable of multitasking. So my question is, on the original iPad would I be able to run a number of apps together as you can on a laptop? (I usually run Firefox, itunes, twitter and Microsoft office or equivalent at the same time). And also, do the ‘smart covers’ work with the original iPad?

Justin Bieber and Mark Zuckerberg are making far more money than I am. In fact, I’m not making any money at all, and my age is in between Bieber’s and Zuckerberg’s, almost 20 years old. I need to have a good idea just to be relevant at a young age, in fact, I want to be a software programmer and have my own software company, making innovative apps and software. Bieber is rich enough to rule the world, Zuckerberg contributed Facebook yet it damaged his personal life, and I did nothing other than the fact that I’m almost to the point where no one who sees me realizes that I’m autistic. I’m taking programming courses, but they are learning the fundamentals of computer programming. I need to do better. I need to revamp my sampsoninc.com website and make a brand new version with Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube links, an interactive interface, and even though it has been done before, an app that will let you edit videos online, or in the cloud. Yet I want no Flash this time, only Java, the language that I’m learning to program. I want to show Justin Bieber and Mark Zuckerberg that the people who are most remembered are the ones who contribute something to our society and make it better.
This isn’t a plug for my website. My website once existed, but now it is gone, and I need to create a brand new one. Thanks, guys. I should work my way up to the top bench.

kay so i’m planning on buying a 2nd generation itouch.i have a few questions though,

1:do you need a data plan to use it like the iphone does,or can you just turn it right on out of the box and use it?

2:would i be able to transfer my music from my ipod nano to the itouch using my itunes?

Should I buy a Zune HD?

Hi. I have a iPod Touch 8gb. I am probably going to get a new one this fall whenever the new hardware updates arrive. 16gb’s of iPod storage is 250. 32gb’s of Zune storage is 200. I want to get a Zune HD for just listening to music, and maybe surfing the web a little for Facebook and Twitter, and sports updates. Is this a good idea? I am not choosing it over an iPod, but I just think it would be a good idea to carry more music, and use the iPod for apps, and everything else. Plus the HD has better sound output. I know the Zune is discontinued, but that makes it cheaper too.. Thanks for your feedback.

My friend is trying to include himself in every part of my life. Is this normal?!?

This is long, but please bear with me.

So I’ve been friends with this guy for just over a year now, and he’s nice and I like to hang out with him, but there are some things about him that just, I don’t know, freak me out a little.

It’s like he’s trying to integrate himself into my life in every way possible.
We met on (I know this sounds lame, myspace) but didn’t plan to actually meet up or anything. Just spoke to him cause he was into metal and in the same part of Aus. Then ran into him at a few gigs. Then we became mates and occasionally hung out. That was fine and dandy.

But lately I’m kinda getting a little creeped out…
He messages me every single day asking me how I am and what I am doing. And every weekend without fail, he wants to know what I’m doing and if we can pal around. Like I said before, I do like to hang out with him and his friends, they’re nice, but I have my own friends too that I want to see without him around, cause I’ve known them since high school. I’m 22 now so they’re really good mates of mine.

But he’s kinda, started trying to be friends with them, and getting their phone numbers, adding them to his facebook and contacting them often and trying to arrange to hang out with them. Is that normal?? It’s sorta weirding me out, as he only met them cause I took him to a gig they were playing, and now he’s trying to be all buddy buddy with them.

He also copies my mannerisms, and the things I say. I feel a bit ripped off I guess, cause those were my traits, what made me, me, but now its like they’re his mannerisms too…
Has it just rubbed off on him, or is it him being a bit weird?

I also introduced him to a few bands and a show that I love that he had never heard of till he met me, and now he goes around acting like he is the biggest fan ever. He even gets confused and thinks he’s introducing me to them…like, oh have you heard of this band they’re so great. And I’m like, yeah, I lent you their cd 2 weeks ago O___o

I’m just confused as to why he is trying to include himself into so much of my life. None of my other friends have ever done that, and I’ve never done it to anyone.
He has told me before that he thinks girls with dreads are hot (I’ve got dreads) and that his ex used to be mad at him for talking to me on myspace (we only ever talked about music, nothing suss).
I’m just worried that he wants to be more than friends, cause I couldn’t be any less attracted to him in that way if I tried. It’s just, no.

My bf and I have been taking a break for a few months now, but I havent told this friend cause I’m worried he will say something that will ruin the friendship.

Any suggestions as to how I can handle this situation?

I went through my fan’s list saw their questions, and shockingly found one guy asking a question and told a story that perfectly matched mine. There is no doubt that it was me he was talking about. It was about part of my life that I really detest. I don’t know it’s like he brings the bad memories of HS back, where I got teased, bullied for my look. I recognize this guy(call him jack) as one of the jackass who made a fake love letter to one of the school bully and wrote down my name then I was battered by that bully dude begging him for forgiveness until I got hospitalized, and had almost everyone in the school calling me ‘queer’ after that. It appeared to me now that he(jack) is gay, because he’s continuously asking this question in this section and I think he’s sexually attracted to me now! I have him as friend in facebook. I sent him an email regarding his question, but hasn’t replied yet. I feel like if he was around he brought back all of the trauma I had in HS.
Should I block him from everything? or should I forgive him? it’s a hard decision!

Is it weird that I feel I can predict love life, are these thoughts wrong?

I’m 19 years old and male from Toronto…I’m asking because I feel like I have weird thoughts and can predict the future of my dating life. I also feel like maybe I’m too horny but also too respectful so these things clash in my head. I was told by a palm reader I’d be a great guy to date but I need to know if my head is in the right space.
First, what I find weird is that I feel like everything is coming together and this is the year I get a girlfriend, because I’ve turned 19 and finished a year of uni thus I feel I’ve matured…but at the same time I don’t see myself marrying the 1st girl I date. I’m not dating for the sole sake of pleasure but at the same time I’ll admit its a part of what I want, I can only see myself dating someone caring, open minded, and easy to get along with. that being said, while I wouldn’t want to be a PDA person and kiss in public I wouldn’t like making out on our time and having her sit on my lap and do other stuff that any guy would want. I’m not the type of person to lose my virginity easy and I’ve been thinking I’ll wait till marriage but if I do lose it earlier, it’ll be with a girl I’ve been with for a very long time I think..at least a year. Sometimes I also hope that me and a girlfriend take a date to the beach when we’ve been going out for a while because then part of me wants to see her in a bikini and maybe rub lotion all over her back before making out, and then maybe she wears lingerie for me.
Maybe I’m asking for too much because I get the sense that the girls I date will not be ready to kiss/touch like I won’t and at the same time I wouldn’t want to seem like that’s all I’m looking for in a girl. The fact I have a prediction for this year is weird in my eyes too. I also feel like I’m predicting too much like I get the sense that I will date a few girls in uni and end up marrying neither of them. Then sometimes I think of really nice girls I know and say to myself I may end up dating her like 4 years after uni is done. And sometimes it weird, I mean to be honest hot girls are attractive but I find it a huge turn on when a girl is caring, intelligent and compassionate. One of my cousins has a friend in the US who’s 7 years older than me and I find attractive. She has a boyfriend now but sometimes I say to myself that If she was single at that time, I wouldn’t mind dating her then because we’ve hit it off at family parties before and talked alot. Then I don’t see myself marrying her.
Finally, recently I started picturing myself marrying an old family friend and its weird because its after we just started trading wall posts on facebook to see how each other is doing. I’ve known her since I was a baby, my dad’s family friend. We used to go there quite a bit when we were kids but then I think when I turned 10 everyone got so busy so we didn’t visit her often. We’d go for major events like her 16th birthday or something but I’d say once in like every 3 years nowadays. We aren’t related at all but we have been family friends. I thought about it and she has all the qualities I think I’d want plus I feel like it’s destiny because we’ve known each other since we were kids. I know there’s always the whole thing about whether she or anyone in the family would feel awkward, especially in case of breakup but I felt like it would make sense because our parents are from the same country and even though I’m of mixed race within the country, we still have similar culture and were born/raised in canada so we have that in common. Plus I’m a huge sports fan and so is she so I figure dating/marriage is so easy because she watches what I watch. That being said it’s probably stupid to think I can predict what happens in the near and far future and that it affects my actions so is this just a passing stage or is there something wrong with me?

Blackberry Torch 9600 help ?

I just got the white blackberry torch 9800 two days ago after I got a plan upgrade. I have a data plan but my bbm, app world, facebook app, and twitter app aren’t working. They just says You are currently on a service plan that does not support this application (I thought you just needed a data plan for these apps) . I can go on the browser and internet but the other stuff won’t work. All my bbm requests just say pending and when my friend and I scan eachothers bar codes, it says contact already exists. Why does my battery die so quick?

I have the samsung gravity, I’ve only had it about a week. With a fully charged battery, my phone dies so quick. I used it for about 5 minutes to go on Facebook, then another 5 minutes to go on twitter. And that’s all! Before even 8 hours has gone by, my phone is almost completely dead. I use the task manager each time to make sure all apps are closed. WHen I checked the settings menu, where it says ‘battery use details’ it tells me that 45% of my battery was used by cell standby, amount of battery used by cell radio. What does this mean and how do I fix it??

What are some interesting things to do with Jolicloud?

I just Installed Jolicloud on my Acer Aspire One netbook and was wondering what kind of cool things I could do with it? I’m new to Linux in general, but I have tried to educate myself on it as much as I could. I wanted to use the Ubuntu Netbook Remix so I was going to install it using a USB drive, but for some reason it wouldn’t boot up, it always froze. But nonetheless, I now have Jolicloud and I like it, but I feel I should be doing more with it since it is a Linux distro after all. So any interesting things that I could do would be cool to know and also any websites or just cool apps would be nice to know about. Internet on my android phone is not working?

I got a new phone (android) on contract last week which includes internet allowance. I’m still using the same sim card. My internet was locked before on my old contract because I kept going on Facebook and it kept charging me so my dad locked it so I couldn’t use it, but the other day he unlocked it so I could use it again because now I get internet free. But it won’t work, I can’t log in to Facebook or Twitter and when i go on Market it says ‘A network error has occurred. Retry or cancel’. Msn messenger works sometimes though. I downloaded the apps through wifi by the way. I’m so confused and just want to use internet please help!

question regarding 3rd gen ipod touch, 32GB, please help ?

So i have a jailbroken 3rd gen 32GB iPod touch, it has the jailbreak apps like cydia, winterboard and fontswap. just yesterday i downloaded the MyWi one, enabling a wifi hotspot on your iPod wherever you go. So i got it set up and connected to it which worked fine, but when i go on for example a social network site through an app, for example, twitter, it wont update because it says, “operation could not be completed. Invalid argument.” so could anyone shed some light on the situation or offer advice on how to solve the problem. thanks all help appreciated
